We had a twinkie eating contest for Family Home Evening!!!
The kids were offered $1 for every twinkie past the first 4.
The results were:Lauren came in first place with a whopping 8 twinkies!Way to go Lauren!!!
Runner up was Landon who ate 3! WOW! He was so "sweeted out" that he has decided he won't eat cake for a year.
Emma had a lot of fun, with 2 twinkies in her little belly she was was literally bouncing off the walls.
We had twinkies for the kids lunches for about two weeks. Rob over estimated our tolerance for them!We told several other families at church about our FHE and they said they were going to try it too! Good Luck!
Rob was the instigator in all of this and yet sadly he only downed 1 twinkie total! Oh Rob I thought you had more in you. Beth is not in any of these photos because I was busy eating my 2 twinkies and taking the pics!
Eden was such a trooper, but then again what 3 year old wouln't be hyped about eating twinkies. I think she downed maybe 11/2.
All in all it was a fun evening that we will all remember!

Sounds like fun. Disgusting, but fun. Perhaps I'll propose this activity for our Family Night. I was going to teach the girls how to play Hearts. They might rather eat Twinkies.
