Bell Fall Traditions

One of the traditions we have been enjoying as a family the past few years is going to pick out fall decorations for our front porch and yard at a local pumpkin patch. I love to see the looks on the children's faces as they try to pick out the perfect pumpkins of their choosing. We also like to get gourds of different colors and varieties as well as one of my fall favorites, mums.

Since we don't have such a vibrant change in the color of leaves as many areas I really have enjoyed the mums of different colors and sizes, as I do not remember these in Oregon as a child. They are a new and welcome addition as to what I think of as fall/autumn and I eagerly look forward to them every year.

It was a wonderful fall day for us to enjoy picking out our goodies from this autumn's harvest. When we went to check out Rob asked me to come inside to see something. I was delighted to see my children talking to a parrot who was waving to them and telling them, "Hello." The look on Eden's face was priceless!
