Camping

We had been wanting to go camping forever and it seemed something always came up or the weather was bad. Finally a week ago everything clicked and we were able to pull the kids out of school for a day. Of course this got Rob and I extra bonus points with the kids!We had a great time with my dad being there as well. The night was a little rough with raccoons, hogs, and deer going through our campground. The raccoons got into some of the food and fought over it. Finally Rob and dad just put the coolers into the cars. I don't think dad and Landon got much sleep at all. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed canoeing, hiking, visiting, eating, and of course playing in the fire(the kids are just like Rob, little pyros)

While hiking Landon almost stepped on a Water Moccasin. It really freaked him out and I don't blame him a bit! Rob had fun taking pictures of it and playing with it a bit. He really is my fifth child! All in all, it was a great time had by all and we can't wait to go again!
