Snow Day

The kids prayers were answered this morning. We woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow. Being that we live in Texas we don't have the correct apparel to play in the snow.
It all comes down to layers and once the snow melts and soak through it is time to come in. It seems like the dryer has been going all morning.
Evangeline loves playing in the snow. She will go out for a few minutes and run around everywhere. After warming back up inside she whines by the back door ready to go out again.
I think this is the coldest I have seen the snow in years. Typically the temp is right around freezing so it is a wet snow but since it is 17 outside right now it is a very fine powder. I doubt the kids will have school again tomorrow because this won't melt for a few more days.
