at this very moment...
at this very moment... Rob and his youngest brother Charles are tearing up Lauren's very old, very ugly, very nasty bathroom and they are armed with weapons of mass destruction. Landon dreams of getting in on the action. They were sweet and let him take out the soap and toothbrush holders. I know how remodeling works. First you have to rip out the old stuff and make it uglier than heck to get to the beautiful, sparkling, clean part, but that will be a while. Right now, the air around here is as thick as snot. The noise level is louder than a train wreck and it looks like a bomb went off. It's very scary! In some ways I feel like it's child abuse making my kids breathe this air, but I'm way too tired to get off by backside and go to the store to get allergy masks or whatever those things are called. I think this dust might be killing off my brain cells, so please excuse my miss spelling and grammatical errors. (I know what you are thinking, "so what's her excuse for all of her other posts?")Perhaps it's because Lauren and I have been up since 5am. so we could help with garage sale so the young women at our church could earn money for Girl's Camp. I don't know, but I am running on mere fumes here, literally. I wish sometimes someone would just nominate us for "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" on the basis that the wife and mother of this family is going crazy. Anyway, that's what's going on in our neck of the woods on this very fine Saturday. One of these days we will have a beautiful, brand spank'in new bathroom and I will probably take some pictures and do a post here on the blog. Oh how I can't wait for that day, but today is all about messes, getting dirty, and going insane. (I don't much like messes) We just want to say, when it's all done, you are more than welcome to drop by to give it a try!
