I enjoyed every priceless minute of watching this little imaginary game play out. For me it brought back many memories of days gone by when I was the little girl filling up hours of freedom with little games i had invented for myself . I know i had quite the imagination as a child as my parents happily remind me and I am so thrilled to see my youngest who is without her older siblings for most of everyday find pleasure in exploring her great gift of a wonderful, bright imagination.

Imagination...
On Thursday I had a lot of cleaning and catching up to do! I was dreading it as we have been very busy and I have a lot to catch up on (I'm sure everyone can relate to this) Eden had asked me earlier, "What are we going to do today?" My reply was, "Well, we have to clean, clean, and clean some more." She looked at me like, "I am not happy about this Mom." While I was mopping the kitchen floor (one of my least favorite chores, it doesn't get done as much as it should) Eden came out with her favorite blanket.
She laid it out on the floor until it was perfect and then returned to her room. She brought out her two favorite things in all the world, her stuffed giraffe "Gigi" and her new stuffed chick/bunny who was named "Susan", but has recently been given a name change to "Bob." She proceeded to bring out a few of her tea party dishes and set everything up very carefully.

Let me introduce you to "Gigi" and "Bob." We adopted Gigi from the Fossil Rim Wildlife Safari about 8 months ago. She is always with Eden morning, noon, and night. "Bob" or "Susan" was a recent gift from the Easter bunny. I think he or she is going through a bit of an identity crisis at the moment!
I had to get a few shots of this moment before she went on to something else. It really made my day of cleaning and the mundane into a happy memory. I love this age, but am saddened too as we just celebrated Eden's 4th b-day. I don't want my baby to grow up. It goes by much too fast!
