Vacation part:1

We are back from our wonderful cruise vacation! It went by way too fast and it has been hard for all of us to get back into the swing of things. We made so many great memories with our children and my parents. We sailed away Valentines Day and I can't think of a better way to celebrate! The night before we stayed in Texas City which is only about 20 min. from the cruise terminal. We did have a little bad luck as the motel we stayed at had no hot water! So much for showering. We were not going to let that bring us down as we were ready for vacation and fun! My parents surprised the kids with adorable Valentine bears. This was a blessing because we left Eden's favorite blanket and "Gigi" the giraffe at home. The girls took there bears to various shows and events on the ship throughout the cruise. Since Galveston was celebrating Mardi Gras that week many people had on the traditional necklaces. We happened to find several packages of necklaces by one of the hotels while walking around downtown Galveston. It was a lot of fun for the kids.

Of course one of the first things we did was hit the buffet! A cruise is not a cruise without all of the great food whenever you want it. We had fun exploring the ship and the kids were amazing at finding their way around after just a few minutes. Even Eden and Emma knew exactly which way to go and helped Grandma and Mom find their way more than once!
The kids went to Camp Carnival on and off throughout the cruise. They made friends right away and had a lot of fun with the staff, but mostly we did try to spend as much time together as we could. The service on a cruise is the best and I loved it!The kids loved the hot tub, pool, and especially the water slide. We played mini golf, bean bag toss, water balloons, and Landon, Emma and Eden had a ball dancing for a crowd.
There is so much to share I will have to do it in segments. It has been crazy getting back to work, school, chores, sports, and church. Emma is sick now which is a bummer and we are hoping she will get better very soon!
Love y'all,
The Bells.
