Daddy Daughter Date Night

Last night at Young Women's our Branch presidency hosted a date night for the girls and their dads . Since some of the girl's don't have a dad that is present in their lives they had fun with the YW leaders and the counselors in the Branch pres. It was a 50's theme. They had hamburgers and french fries for dinner and root beer floats for desert. I had forgotten that they were going to feed them dinner, so we had two dinners last night. The girls had a bubble gum blowing competition as well as a hula hoop competition. Lauren is awesome at hula hooping, I think she could do it forever.

They played a game game where they had to guess the prices of things in the 1950's such as a new car or a dozen eggs. It was kind of hard. I took pictures of the girls and their dads and they turned out really cute. Lauren and Rob had a lot of fun together. They get along great and Lauren enjoys Rob's constant teasing. In this picture Rob thought it would be fun to try to tape Laren's eyes open. He's so wierd!!! My children are so blessed to have such a fun, awesome dad.
