Eden's 1st Tee Ball Game

Last Saturday was the spring season kickoff game for tee ball in Mineral Wells, Tx. Eden Bell , #4, for the River Bandits, played first base and catcher in Saturday's game and boy was it exciting! Eden a rookie to the game, seems to have picked up the concept of tee ball with great speed. She is one of about 15 boys and girls on her team, ages ranging from 3 yrs. to 5 yrs. old. Eden is the tallest on the team. You can tell she is excited about the game and ready to do her best as she always has a huge smile on her face. The game brought plenty of excitement as

some fellow teammates forgot where to run after hitting the ball. Some of the dad's were ready in the field to assist any players who needed direction during the game. All were eager to get their hands on the ball making for few pile ups during the game. If you have never had the oppotunity to watch a tee ball game, you should. It can provide much amusement for the soul. We look forward to following Bell's career as the tee ball season continues. Signing off for now, sports reporter and proud mom, I'm Beth Bell.
