Bell blog update

This last week was Spring Break for my kids. We had a wonderful relaxing week with almost near perfect weather. We started out Monday with a bang and decided to go to the Fort Worth zoo. When we got just outside the zoo entrance my heart sank as I saw all of the hundreds of cars parked on the grass with police men directing the traffic. I decided to go on and just see if by a miracle we could get in. We had already driven almost an hour to get there. Turning around to go directly back home would not have made for happy smiling children! We got in the main parking lot for the zoo and found a place to park. Sweet! The zoo was crowded, but not to the point that we couldn't enjoy it. The animals were all out having fun playing with each other and giving us a grand show. It was well worth it. Probably one of the best times I have had.

The rest of the week was spent doing pretty much normal stuff, but everything we did seemed a little more enjoyable being off from school without a booked schedule. Friday we were able to have a late lunch with Rob in Fort Worth. Anytime with Rob is a good time. Lauren and I went to Charming Charlie's. If you have never been to one you really should, it was definitely a girlie thing to do! All of the jewelry. clothes, handbags, shoes ect. are sorted by color and there is a ton to choose from. We just window shopped this time around.

I also have been making my family delicious healthy smoothies using fruits and lots of green leafy veggies. They love them and I am pretty much addicted. We are getting ready to put in a little raised garden. Each year we will add a little more square footage. Hopefully this year we will have success unlike last year.
