summer mealtime


i love each season and it various foods to savor. fall/winter we enjoy soups and bread.
spring/summer salads, fruits and veggies.



i find that i have more time in the summer to cook and i can become a
little more creative. my mother in law gave us some yellow squash that i breaded and fried in olive oil.
it was delicious and the kids loved it!



we had a green salad with salmon, chives, tomato, fresh basil (from the garden)avocado,
and boiled egg. everything wash so fresh and oh so good. strawberry lemon aid washed it all down. it was a great summer family mealtime.
