We woke up to snow early this morning and it is still falling twelve hours later. The kids went to school for about two hours and then we were told we could go pick them up! I guess the schools wanted it to count as a full day since they let out at ten. The kids have had a lot of fun playing in the snow and it is perfect for building snowmen. This one that is about ready to fall over was built by Lauren and Landon. It's taller than Lauren. Rob said he has really never seen snow like this in Texas!
Earlier this week Eden was feeling very poorly. She has had a stomach bug and guess who caught it? That's right Rob! He is feeling pretty bad and I am praying the rest of us don't catch it. Poor guy!
We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day early with our vacation coming in just three days. Eden and I made homemade valentines for everyone. We will have a special dinner tonight of Shrimp Scampi, salad, bread, Sparkling Apple Cider, and if I am ambitious enough valentine sugar cookies.
A couple of weeks ago Lauren and Landon got out the sewing machine and made a batman apron for Landon. Here he is modeling it.We also had a fun evening at home having crab legs for dinner. It was sooo good and very messy!
Speaking of messy my home is just that with everyone having a snow day today and Rob being sick! I am slightly overwhelmed with getting everyone ready to leave Saturday morning and having sickly family members. However, we will make the best of it and I am about ready to get all the little Bell's to get their working groove on! Isn't it nice to be the boss once in a while?
