Finally...

Yesterday, being a holiday, was the perfect opportunity for our family to do something we have been waiting forever to do. We finally, after many years of having little ones, got to go on a family bike ride!!!
Rob and I have dreamed of this for quite some time. It has been a challenge for us as we have always had a baby, or toddler to throw into the mix, making it pretty much impossible to do. Everyone rode expect Eden. We put her on the back of Rob's bike because we knew she wouldn't be able to handle it. We went for a 12 mile bike ride with the whole family and had a blast! We rode from our house, down past the Vietnam Memorial heading towards Weatherford. It was hot, but beautiful, and so much fun! We made one stop on the way to get drinks and a bite to eat @ Chicken Express. On the way home, we stopped and got more drinks @ McDonald's. Yes we were hot, yes people thought we were crazy to take out 4 kids in the heat on a bike ride in Texas, but we had so much fun and made great memories. Unfortunately, we did forget the camera, bummer.
We are already having visions of riding more often and really going the distance as the "Bell family Bikers." Happy trails.....
